Birthed in 2019, Women Connect formed with the mission to create a haven of acceptance, foster inclusivity and champion parity for women and non-binary people in the creative industry.
We aim to transform the outdated notion of women's inferiority in professional settings. Our initiative encourages people to exchange experiences and resources.
A collaboration between Women Connect and DMC in response to the film, "Sisters with Transistors", screened as part of Dumfries Music Conference 2021. Our piece features musicians Alika and Emmavie, alongside author and mentor Eve Horne.
